I have proof read “How To Create A Video Presentation Using PowerPoint” e-book myself and made some changes as suggested by Alex Jeffreys.

One of the changes is that the, currently, last page now has a completed presentation on it that shows the scope of what can be done with PowerPoint.  Sorry to say but this worked in the word file but will not work in the PDF file so it is not there.  If you would like to see the video I can email you a copy.

I am now trying to get the cover and sales page done, so although there is an optin box for the book in the right hand column, the link given in the email you receive after confirming your email address is wrong so please do not use it until I let you know it is available.  This will be later on today Monday 25 May I expect.

Web Design Course Update

Having completed all the classroom sessions on my web design course, I am now on a placement where I am building a website for a local community association.

This is going to be quite a large site as they have a number of ongoing projects each of which is going to have its own page.

I have part completed most of the pages, but as some of the information has to be checked to make sure it is up to date and photographs have yet to be added I haven’t them finished yet,  when all the preparation work is done the site will be uploaded to the net and will then be available for all to view.

It is intended that this site will replace their current information pack which is given to all new residents in their area.

At last I have my E-Book finished apart from proofreading which is the next step.

All I have to do now is create the cover and sales letter for it.  The final page count was heading towards 70 but by editing and reducing screenshot sizes I managed to reduce this to 46.

As I said in an earlier post if you are one of the first 50 to request a copy you will get it FREE.  So far I have had 3 requests for the e-book.  For those who haven’t read my earlier posts the title of the e-book is “How To Create A Video Presentation Using Microsoft PowerPoint.

I was emailed a video created with Microsoft PowerPoint but I have been unable to upload it to here as the file size is too big.  This video consists of 50 slides and music which goes along with them, the last slide of the 50 contains the words of the song and is set to repeat the music over and over again.  Depending on copyright rules and regulations I may be able to include it with the e-book as a sample of what can be done with a PowerPoint presentation.

I will not be sending out details of where you can get your copy of the e-book until next week as I want to check it over and make sure I haven’t any errors in it before doing so, but rest assured it will be available to download before the end of the month.

Any of Alex Jeffrey’s students going to Las Vegus for his seminar take plenty of video and let those of us who cannot make it see what we are missing, I wish I could have gone along but circumstances dictated otherwise.
